Our mission is to provide accurate and reliable determinations and verifications of the four primary precious metals used in the industry – Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium. At our laboratories, we use internationally accepted procedures of Fire Assay by fusion and cupellation together with Atomic Absorption Spectrometry to analyze materials such as Dore bars, alluvial gold, jewelry alloys and scraps, and jewelry waste.
We understand how important it is to ensure that the metals are accurately determined, and that’s why we use the latest X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology. This enables our laboratory to perform quick pre-screening tests and verification of unknown alloys submitted by customers for refining. This is crucial for deciding the correct inquartation with fine silver prior to actual fire assaying. The Inquartation method is the most effective way of parting or separating the target elements, and this results in the most accurate determination of the precious metals.
